Minnesota Forever / Fall 2023

It's OFFICIAL!  We have begun a new adventure, and it is one that is so exciting!  We weren't expecting it, but it just so happened where the cards fell just right to make this dream come true.  I grew up going to Norway Beach Resort in Minnesota for vacations since I was little.  It has always been a place near and dear to my heart.  When Chad and I started a family, this was a place we would vacation and they all fell in love with it, too.  Fast forward to my last trip there with Brock, and on the drive up, we were discussing the possibilities of purchasing and fixing up one of the cabins.  After much deliberation and weighing the pros and cons, we pulled the trigger and purchased the "Resort" house.  Growing up, this was the property we called the "resort" because it was the place where the people staying in cabins would go to hang out, get bait, ice cream, sodies, and play cards,  It also has the best view of the lake!  The house needs some TLC, but it's nothing that we haven't done to our many properties we have owned before.  We knew it was destiny because when we walked in, we found this...

Sophie had a great volleyball season this year!  She played Reserve, JV, and Varsity, and her love for volleyball continues to grow and grow.  She loves being an outside hitter and serving.

Brock started college life at Doane and has adjusted well.  It didn't take him long to establish a routine between classes, golf, and personal life.  He began the semester with a dorm roommate, but that was short-lived after his roommate decided to head back home.  To Brock's advantage, he never did get another roommate assigned to his dorm, so he has been enjoying having the space all to himself!

Ella took a trip with her friend to Florida shortly after school began.  She was over-the-moon to experience ocean life, and she had the best time ever!

Tewy knows no personal space when it comes to using the bathroom.  He's just like toddler.
