Things Among Things

How can something so beautiful be so gross?

Mother's Day Cookie Madness

As most of you know, it is not uncommon for food to end up in Ella's hair, so I was not at all surprised to find frosting in it. I was impressed, however, that it was a reasonable amount in comparison to what is usually hiding in there.

Cookie for Daddy

Cookie for Mama
(It was soooo delicious!)

If only you could have only heard them. It was LOUD!

When I caught Sophie doing this:

I tightened the lid so she couldn't open it.

She eventually gave up and decided just to lick the bottle.

My crocheted rag rug!

My first attempt at rag-rugging didn't go so well:

Ready for preschool!

Sophie plucking grapes to wash. Most end up in her mouth.

The kids love looking though my cookbooks for yummy treats to make.
Another forget-me-not memory.

The last of the soccer pics

Sweet, Sweet Basil

When she is this cute, how can I pick just one picture?
Ella was making her laugh while she was in the tub.

The kids did do an Easter egg hunt this year, but I was unable to salvage the pictures from it; however, Brock's baseball team has a shutterfly page where the pics from the pancake feed can be viewed. Click HERE to see.

And lastly, Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms out there. I admire you so much because I know how hard it is to be a MOM. Being a mother is one of the most rewarding yet challenging (and chaotic and crazy and amazing and frustrating and jubilant and tearful) wonders of life.

So here's to you, Mamas, for being soooo wonderful!
