Robin's Egg

When my sister asked if Sophie was scared of the robin's egg in the picture on the previous post, I thought it would be a good idea to share the story. We had found two robin's eggs and and a nest laying in our yard. After no birds claimed them, I put them all on our deck in a flower pot until I decided what crafty thing I wanted to do with them. The kids were outside playing while I was getting supper ready, and Ella comes running inside telling me to come look at Sophie. I went on the deck to find that Sophie had squished one of the eggs and it exploded all over her face.
