Chad and Brock set out to embark on a guided pheasant hunt through Pheasants Forever. This was Brock's first time pheasant hunting, and Chad signed up to be a mentor. It was an all-day adventure, and they had a blast. It was quite the experience, and they didn't' come home empty handed!
While the boys were hunting, the girls and I headed to the pumpkin patch!

Finally, she emerges from the tube of darkness. Unbeknownst to those around her, she'd been stuck in the tube for what seemed like eternity. In pre-teen years, that's equivalent to 20 seconds.

Ella was able to catch a glimpse into her future:

However, when it's Sophie's turn, the children around her...
slowly begin to...
MULTIPLY!
So much so that a couple of minutes after this photo was taken, the girl in the pink dress went over to the other side through the tube, and when she came back through, she didn't even realize that Soph was still there and walked right on top of her chest, almost crushing her face.

When you have a scratch that you need to itch and you are buried, it's nice to have someone close by who truly cares. That's love.
