We are so used to demolition that deconstruction seems to make me so impatient. Just tear it down! Rip it to pieces! Knock it over! Ideally, we would; however, we are working with some serious rough sawn boards and barn wood we would like to salvage. We are pretty certain that each of the boards and beams used to build this shed were cut from the sawmill that Chad's great uncle had at the back of the property (some of it still remains). Very cool!
Chad intends to build a steel garden shed to replace this one. Hopefully by winter, we will have the beginnings of a new garden shed!
