There is still plenty of room for additional plantings and landscaping, but we stuck with the basics this year in hopes that it was a good location for a garden.
Chad took his last vacation of the year with intentions of us getting the basement cleaned out and water issues taken care of (done and done!). Uncle Loyd was ever-so-generous to let us borrow his skid-loader for two weeks to do some much needed demo to the yard. We have become quite creative in our plans for future tree plantings and landscaping, and it is exciting to see the progress.

Cake that the kids made for Daddy.
They made it ALL! I gave them the box of cake and left the kitchen. I returned just to turn on the oven, put it in, and take it out.
Good job, guys!
After gifts, we headed to Lincoln to take the kids to the Valentino's Vegas Buffet, and then it was off to Despicable Me 2. Such a fun day!

Whenever Sophie pogos, she usually just flings herself off into the grass shortly after hopping on it.
Ella requested an evening of relaxation with cucumbers, robes, and hot tea with honey.
Speckles even had to get in on the action.
Bonfire on a Rainy Evening

Harper got all of the scrap mallows.
Brock and Ella kept Sophie's burning mallows at bay.
Wherever she walked, she kept falling. She thought it was the most hilarious thing.
