In-Home Summer Camp

In thinking about what to do with the kids during the summer, I knew that the more busy they were, the less they would fight with each other, thus resulting in our summer camp.  The kids are loving the fact that they still get to do school work, and I have lots of activities and chores (boo!) to keep them busy.  We also incorporate a variety of activities during the day in which they have their "together time" and "alone time."

Mushroom Hunt

The kids were excited to find that our creek was full from all of the rain.  That ended our mushroom hunt.

Exploring the Creek

I would classify this experience as something in between Lord of the Flies and Stand by Me.
