Sophie's Surgery

After numerous ear infections and continual fluid in her ears causing hearing issues, Sophie had surgery to get tubes and her adenoids removed. She is so brave!

The pain didn't hit her like we thought it would have. The doctors said her adenoids were very large and expected her to be in a lot of pain with their removal.  She could very well have a lot of pain, but she doesn't get phased by much. She's our tough monkey!

She got some souvenirs while at the surgery center. Her favorite was the yellow popsicle bracelet. She wanted to keep the bloody green band from her IV, but I had to draw the line somewhere.

The kids took it upon themselves to create their own business last weekend.  The supplies that they needed were minimal, as the majority of the things were created out of the resources they found outside.  They came up with some pretty interesting things.

First thing's first...they needed a form of currency.

They found the bucket by the barn and cleaned it out with snow.  Seems legit.
