Sophie made sure that whatever she did, she was aware of the gum's location.

Siblings make everything a bit more challenging.

Brock was then introduced to the gum.

The challenge of getting Brock to smile for pictures finally came to a revelation when he disclosed that he only smiles for two things: fishing and sneezing on his sisters.

Sophie's continues to be concerned when she notices her pink eyes after she goes swimming.  Not pinkeye this time; it's just chlorine!

Five gallons of primer and twelve gallons of paint later and we are done painting! 

Just call me Painting Ninja. 

Finally done!  Wait...we aren’t done?!?!  

Tomorrow’s projects: porch flooring and tiling. 

We are at the point of exhaustion/insanity. We now only have two options:

1. Keep on keeping on. 

2.  Burn the house down.

That’s Where It’s At

Work hard, play hard! Day 1 of summer has yet to disappoint. What would summer be without a schedule? I was able to get all of my schoolwork, daily house cleaning, chores, and exercise done by 11, which led me to pitch a tent while Brock fished, and then he took a nap in my majestic creation built from sweat and tears (hence the top right photo). I was actually pleasantly surprised that it didn’t take long to put it up by myself. I was fully prepared to wrestle it and win. I may have wrestled it just for fun when I was done just to see if I would have actually won. 😞 I didn’t.
