Sprummer (Spring & Summer)

 Quality Time with the Sibs
You know you're in the right place when Elvis is able to join you.

Don't mind if I do...

Kentucky Derby - Hiller Edition

A lot of people were rooting for Smokin' T solely due to the fact that brought back such fond memories of Chad's smoked chicken.

Bell's the One was sure to be Ella's lucky horse.  Sadly, it wasn't.

Sweet...

Turning...

Sour.

He always knows how to find them...

I have a sneaking suspicion that someone will make sure Rotz is on my tombstone.
Here lies Molly Heusinkvelt
Loving wife, mother, and friend
Queen of Rotz
Bargain shopper extraordinaire

The kids will get it someday.  Someday they will appreciate the Rotz.  Someday they will live the Rotz.  #rotzforlife  #what'swrongwithfreedompops

Headed out to graduation parties!

Last one!  She's actually a really good driver!

Cats in a Birdhouse
Need I say more???

I was so proud when I made the girls this beautiful hibiscus tea pina colada.
Did they love it?
Did they ask for it every day from then on?
Did they rush downstairs to try this magnificent concoction??
After sending them the picture and the description, here was their response...

*sigh*

Hometown fishing!

7th Grade End-of-School Bonfire
They all had a blast!
Sophie "setting up" for the bonfire.

Gerrr.

It's the simple things in life that bring the most joy.

I know that we have all wondered at some point...what does it look like when Sophie aggressively eats steak?
Well, folks.  You can cross this one off of your bucket list.

She's a runner; she's a track star!

Quality time with Boone!

Sister Sunsets

Hubby and Wife Colonoscopy Date
What a memorable experience this was! 🤣

We were both "screened." On our hands.  Like husband, like wife.

3rd Grade Team
A few of us moved off of the team, and beginning this fall, I will be joining the 5th grade team!  I made some awesome friends on this team, and I will definitely miss it, but I am so VERY excited for this new opportunity!  5th grade...here I come!

Detassling!

Rollerblading with Soph
We started off strong -- keeping a steady pace, laughing, singing, conversing.
All was well, until...

Sophie fell.
Once she fell the first time, whenever I turned around to check on her, she was faceplanted either in the grass or on the concrete.  I told her that I was going to document her falls and take a picture of her each time she fell to record these special moments in time.  She didn't like that idea.

She got pretty good at falling, and when she noticed me getting out my phone to take a picture, she would get up as fast as she could to prevent any further documentation.

Sophie - You literally had one job to do.  One job:

She was so excited when I finally fell that she had to get a picture of me.  Karma.

Have you ever wondered what it looks like to take a break while rollerblading with Sophie?  I'm sure you can probably imagine...

Gerr.

We made it from 84th Street to 27th Street with minor injuries and lots of laughs!

Bountiful Garden Harvest

Golf tournaments will do that to you...

Braces on!

Braces off!

This was as good as I could get until senior pictures.
