Social butterfly!
We FINALLY finished the puzzle! We told Sophie that since she helped so much with the puzzle, she would get Dairy Queen when it was done. The first rainy day in July, we were determined to finish it...and we did!

Big day for this kid! Worked all summer and he finally got a school car (he paid half for it). He has a school permit now and is counting down the days until he gets his actual license. He already has plans to save more money for a "sweet ride" for senior year. He's looking at Camaros and Mustangs. *sigh*
Better start looking for another job!
First Ride with the Fam:
Baseball Exhaustion
Meet Alfie
Alfie was brought to us by Ella's friend, Kenna. She was driving home from practice and saw him on the side of a gravel road by the train tracks with rocks matted in his eyes and was obviously lost or abandoned. Kenna brought him to our house where we nursed him back to health and made a cozy little spot for him in our family. He is the SWEETEST, most LOVING cat I have ever met. Alfie, you are VERY loved!
Sugar taking good care of him:
When he was finally able to open his eyes:
We didn't want Alfie to be lonely, so we got him a friend.
