Summer of States: Kentucky

This summer has been a whirlwind of travel and project completion.  We had many destinations over the last two months, and they were all full of fun, family-filled memories.  Our first destination was Louisville, Kentucky for Maddie's graduation.

Congratulations, Maddie!

As soon as the picture was snapped, Brock was out.

Ella and Mrs. Beans
This began her Pomeranian campaign.

When we all get together, one of our guilty pleasures is watching Westworld.  We I thought it was a good idea to make it a full-family affair with the kids and all, but at the first gory scene, my mind was quickly changed.  ðŸ˜¬

Sophie was the luckiest on the bets!

Mudslides mean business.

The girls rode with Grammie and Papa to and from Kentucky.  I would say that they were a little spoiled!

Roman Candle Debate
Blake's Turn

Carter's Turn

Mom said no and Dad said yes...

"How about I shoot the parachute with the Roman candle after you light it?"  Um...no.

All the while, Ella made a new friend...

20 minutes into the cat lovin' session, she started sneezing and rubbing, which began Operation Cat Disposal and Body Cleanse

Holland, Michigan
This was the perfect opportunity for Soph to flop all she wanted!

Bellyflop!

Someone lost their gum...

Ewww!

Sophie made sure that whatever she did, she was aware of the gum's location.

Siblings make everything a bit more challenging.

Brock was then introduced to the gum.

The challenge of getting Brock to smile for pictures finally came to a revelation when he disclosed that he only smiles for two things: fishing and sneezing on his sisters.

Sophie's continues to be concerned when she notices her pink eyes after she goes swimming.  Not pinkeye this time; it's just chlorine!
