Thanksgiving 2017

This year, as in most years past, a child was sick on Thanksgiving. I stayed home with Sophie while the others celebrated with family, and Sophie and I made "flu" fruit pizza. Luckily, her fever just lasted one day, and we were able to celebrate today. She was barely able to make it through our Tree Party but was successful in putting up her new ornament as well as her others. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! There is so very much to be thankful for!
Movie Night! Wonder was AWESOME!

Sophism

"I'm tired of listening to city music (KFRX) on the bus.  I want to listen to more country music instead of city music because I live in the country."

Halloween 2017

Halloween was different this year in that Brock didn't go trick-or-treating because he's too old, and the girls went with their friends. Because of this "turning of the times," Chad bought Brock a giant bag of candy, and we had a pumpkin carving contest.

Chad had detailed sketches of his design, whereas I just went for it without a plan. Brock was the judge, and he judged them as both equally spooky and creative. I know deep in my heart that Chad won. His pumpkin was especially purrrrfect.

Opening Day

While Chad went hunting with his dad, I had the pleasure of hunting with my boy this weekend. There were many chuckles and stories being told on the mother/son morning. It was such a cool experience to be able to watch him get his deer. We were both equally excited!

He did an awesome job finding the blood trail!

14-Year Anniversary

Oh, the places we will go! Fourteen years with this fellow by my side, and it has been one heck of a ride. I'd say we make a superstar team! Cheers, Honey, on loving you forever!

To celebrate, we had rings, wings, and utilized our EIS (Emergency Ice Cream Spoons located within a secret compartment in the suburban) to the fullest!
