Football, Chili, and Cinnamon Rolls -- Welcome, Fall!

Brock is #5 this year.  He was selected to be head quarterback.

Cinnamon rolls never usually last very long at our house.

Brock wanted to try band this year and took an interest in the trumpet.  Currently, he is involved in student council, choir, band, seasonal sports (only one per season) -- football, basketball, and baseball, and he is also in academic enrichment.  The only way he is allowed to do all of these things is if it doesn't affect family time because that is the most important to us.  Somehow, he makes it work.

Study Buddies

Sophie and I created study sessions for us to complete our homework.  We have our spot in the recliners, have our massaging chairs going, and we help each other out if we need to.  This is by far the most fun I have ever had doing my homework.  I think she could attest to that, as well.

We are getting distracted.  I think we need a brain break.

Only 3.5 months to go until I obtain my master's degree!  Hard work pays off, and with study sessions like this, it will be the best 3.5 months of school yet.
