The Heusy O

Constructing the Orchard
Chad spent the day helping install his folks' wood floors, so me and the kids took it upon ourselves to get a head start on the orchard.  They were such troopers, helping in any way that they could.  We had discussed coming up with a name for our orchard, and Brock thought of it.  Introducing "The Heusy O."

The kids loved having "poop" (manure) duty.  Their duties included shoveling manure, fetching water, holding fence panels, zip tying them, carrying mulch bags, and hauling and hammering t-posts.  Such hard workers!
Mama and the Poop

She planted four trees in high heels.

I guess the girls outlasted him.

Some Skateboarding Action

During the hayrack ride, Brock chased us with his bike the whole way.  There were some pretty steep hills, too!

Sophie's First Fieldtrip

For Sophie's first field trip, her preschool went to the Milford Fire Department to learn the ins and out of fire fighting basics.  It took her a while before she was comfortable with what was going on, but she assured me that she had a lot of fun.

Brock's 9th Birthday

Presents!

Cards from his sisters...

The envelope from Mom and Dad which contained many envelopes inside of each other.

The Cake

Brock had a sleepover with his friends Domonic, Jacob, and Brayton.  During a baseball game outside, a friend got hurt, and it bummed him out a little bit during cake and present time.

Happy Birthday, Brock!  We love you SO, SO much!
