Girls Day!

For the kids' and my day off, Grammie took Brock birthday shopping, so I took the girls to Lincoln for a girls day.  From start to finish, it was such an amazing day with my girlies, and I look forward to doing it more and more.
 Where the gravel ends...

and the pavement begins.

  First Stop:  Michaels

Traveling Companions

Next Stop:  Hobby Lobby (for boring Mom stuff)

Next Stop:  The Pet Store

This squeaky toy scared all of the dogs we played with, but Sophie felt it was necessary to squeak it over and over and over and over and over.

Next Stop: The Carousel

Yee-Haw!

Next Stop:  The Cookie Company

I think Rocky's eyes are a little bigger than his stomach.

Where are we going?

Last Stop: Claires!
 (insert screaming and running)

Somewhere in there, we stopped at Shopko for more boring Mom stuff, and the girls were shocked when they seen they had outfits that came with matching doll outfits.  It is girls day, right?

Valentine's Day 2014

This Valentine's Day was special in that it was Sophie's first V-day at preschool!  She was very excited to take valentines to all of her friends, and I had some really cute pictures of her getting them ready, but I erased them from my camera before I had the chance to download them.  Oops!  Anywho, for a very special Valentine's Day evening, Chad and I took the kids on a date to see Frozen.  Such a fun night and a very good movie!

What a Wonderful World

Making Tortillas

Yes, we cooked them and ate them.  Yummy face tortillas.

After a month of thinking that we had the locust thorn removed from Sophie's finger, her pinkie started growing a cyst that kept getting worse and worse without pain.  The day before her doctor's appointment, her pinkie cyst popped open and started bleeding.  Chad barely squeezed it, and out shot the locust thorn that had been plaguing her pinkie for weeks.

Super Girls!
(Kennedi and Ella)

Totally BFFs!

About how many hours does it take to install new security?
And how many of these?

Football Brownies

It's not cookin' without a little bit of drama.  :)

SNOW DAY!

Upset that Dad took the Burb with his sled in it.  Luckily, he has two sweet sisters willing to share.

Squishing It

"THAT WAS AWESOME!"

JUMP!

Two 20-minute outside sessions were enough for us!  Brrrr!

After their hot cocoa, it was tablet time.
