First Day of Preschool

Notice her cupcake dress.  Grandma got the girls dresses (Sophie's has a flower and ladybug), and since bringing them home, they are hard to keep off of them.  Every morning, Ella and Sophie ask to wear their dresses and are devastated if they happen to be in the wash.  Remind you of a little girl with a bathing suit obsession??

 The kids were awesome bug finders!  We found tons of cicadas, cicada shells, Japanese beetles,  a horse fly, wasp, and a few flies.  We were searching high and low for an ant hill to capture but had no such luck. 

 Shark Attack

Since it's shark week, we have been discussing sharks (minus the gory details which have scared me beyond the point of ever wanting to go in the ocean).  We are going to be making shark cookies, and hopefully we can keep the frosting more controlled this time around.  =)
