Where did our baby go???

Not only is Sophie crawling, she is now sitting up, pulling herself up on things, and standing! She gets pretty daring when she is standing and will let go to see what happens. That doesn't always end so good. She is pretty independent when it comes to playing by herself, but when she's done playing, she will come and find me wherever I am.

We got a letter the other day from Brock's preschool saying that it starts in a couple of weeks. He is so excited to see all of his friends again!

Congrats!

Our friends, Matt and Amy, just had their twin baby girls, Isabella and Amelia. We went and visited them in the hospital yesterday, and they are absolutely adorable! Congrats to them on their new adventure! Kind of makes me want another baby... ;)

SURPRISE! CHAD'S 30!

After months and months of planning and with A LOT of help from from my family and Chad's family, I was able to throw a successful surprise 30th bday party for Chad! We totaled up the numbers today and figured right at 90 people (including kids) were here to celebrate Chad's birthday. It was so much fun to have everyone here, and we greatly appreciate everyone coming out!

Sophie Crawls!

Sophie is officially crawling! She got her arms working a couple of days ago, and now you can't stop her. She is still our gummy baby with no teeth yet, and that's okay because we're in no hurry for her to grow up!
I have a couple of cute videos to post later, but for now, here are some pics from the weekend.

4th of July Weekend

For the 4th, we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Chad was in a golfing tourney with Uncle Loyd and Ethan that afternoon, and they won! He later met me and the kids over at Grandma and Grandpa's. They bought a huge water slide for the kids to play on, and Brock couldn't get enough. Ella went down one time, and that was enough for her. They had a fun time playing with their cousins and lighting smoke bombs. After supper, we came home to put Sophie to bed, then we lit our fireworks. Brock really enjoyed the ones that zipped up in the air and tried to attack us. Yeah...didn't care for those too much!
Ella and CarterMama: "What happened to you?"
Ella: "Cupcake."
