Just so you know...those aren't lesions on Brock's arms, they would be Kung Fu Panda tattoos. Ohhh, Master Shefu!

Ella had her doctor's appointment on Monday, and she is as healthy as can be:

Height: 34 3/8 (57%)
Weight: 27 lbs (34%)
Head: 19 1/16 (50-75%)

We have been gaining a lot of progress on our house projects. We got the drywall up in Brock's new room. All that's left to do is frame up the closet and do some more electrical work, which Chad will probably try and tackle this weekend. I am so proud of him and his handyman abilities! The kitchen is ready for painting, but I think I am going to wait on that until I get the rest of the drywall done.

We definitely took advantage of the nice weather and can't wait for it to last longer than 2 days! Brock was able to play baseball, Ella got to swing, and Mama got to pick up lots and lots of dog poo! Wee!

Round 3 of the Sickness

Here we go again...round 3 of the sickness. I was under the impression that when we all get sick it doesn't travel back around. Boy, was I wrong! It can only go up from here.

Sophie had her 2-month check up today and got her shots. She was a trooper and didn't cry at all. Psych! Hee hee! Let me remind you that I spend the majority of my life around people under 4 years old. They laugh at my jokes, and are usually the only ones. Anyway, she checked out with flying colors. Here are her stats:

Height: 22 1/4" (50%)
Weight: 9 lbs 11 oz (25%)
Head: 15" (50%)

Doctor said that we can start feeding her sides of beef and protein shakes. She should really be hitting the weights.

I gave the kids haircuts during the week of sickies.
I didn't cut Sophie's hair, but she was feeling left out so I gave her a new 'do.I felt bad taking this picture, but she looked so cute.Sophie watching the Super Bowl with Daddy
Cute Ella story:
Ella has been really into the color pink. Yesterday while we were swinging, she told me that she wanted to shoot a pink elk with her pink gun and grow a little pink cow in the garden.
